Nominators Comment I met Vladimir in Ghent in Belgium. He had a residency at Awajishima in Japan where there is a tradition of dense carving and printing style His style of work and Western mentality applied to this tradition of printmaking art can be described as somewhat dreamy and fantastic. I was intrigued by such a mysterious embodiment in his world of art.
